Sue trekked many times in Nepal and had a deep love and respect for the Nepalese people. In her travels she became friends with the organisers of the Australian Himalayan Foundation (AHF) and saw an opportunity to help by raising awareness and funds for there projects. Sue eventually became an ambassador for AHF.
